Once you’ve received your custom rubber stamp you’ll want to keep it in tip top condition. Whilst all of our stamps give thousands of impressions, a little TLC will ensure it gives you a fantastic image time after time. Follow this simple steps to keep both your stamp and ink pads in good working order:

1) It’s important to clean your stamp in between uses and in between different colours. However, avoid washing your stamp under the tap as vigorous washing can separate the rubber from the stamp handle. Instead, tap your stamp onto a damp cloth until it stops leaving an impression.

2) Keep your stamp dry. Once you’ve removed the ink from your stamp, gently tap it on a dry towel to remove any remaining moisture.

3) If your stamp feels a little sticky after cleaning, dust it with a small amount of talcum powder. This will make it feel like new!

4) Store your stamp and ink pads in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. This will keep the rubber in great shape, and help your ink pads to stay “inky” longer!
