If you want a custom stamp for your business or craft project, putting the artwork together might seem a little daunting. After all, you want it to be perfect but you’re not a designer – how can you make sure your stamp turns out exactly as you want it to?
Well, that’s where our handy online stamp designer comes in. It’s a simple WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) editor that takes you step by step through the process of creating your stamp.
The stamp designer works by loading your chosen stamp type (text, rectangular, image, circular etc) and then allowing you to edit each area yourself. This could be inputting your own text into the text area, or uploading the image you’d like to use. You can change the size and font of your text, and even resize your image directly in the editor so you don’t have to worry about making your artwork the correct size – just upload it and change the size in the editor until you’re happy with it.
It’s worth bearing in mind that when your stamp is made up, it won’t have a colour – the colour comes from the ink pad you choose. When you upload your artwork to the editor therefore, we suggest you use a black and white image.
The resolution of your image is also quite important, so try to use 300dpi if you can. This means that if you resize your image there’s less chance of quality being lost, and we can also produce the crispest, most accurate stamp to give you an excellent impression when you come to use it.
If you still need a little help using our editor don’t worry, we have lots of tutorials that talk you through the process. We’re always happy to help if you need something out of the ordinary, or if you’re not sure what sort of stamp you need, so feel free to get in touch with our friendly team!
