Hello, just a quick query. I would like to know about the packaging the Eco-Friendly stamps come in please. Often manufactures claim their products are 100% recycled but it is only the actual item which is recycled, and the packaging it arrives in is often made from new plastics and papers.

Your response would be greatly appreciated.

    Jonny.

Hi Jonny, thanks for the great post :-D

It raises a good question and one which required me to do a bit of digging. The packaging is made from 100% recycled cardboard and even the heat generated during the production process to make the stamp and packaging is recycled. I don’t know all the details but I imagine its used to heat the water or something similar, imagine that? Your cup of tea is heated by Speedy Stamps!

Another quick not is that the wooden handle used on the heavy duty Eco-Friendly stamps is even sourced from renewable and climate neutral raw material, not that I know what climate neutral wood is, but there you go Jonny.
